The results of this test have been divided into 3 parts, each part contains 8 hours, from 00:00 AM to 08:00 AM, from 08:01 AM to 16:00 PM and from 16:01 PM to 23:59 PM, indicating the disk usage and the percentage in one day on each part. We obtained the following results:

Data analysis
After evaluation of data obtained from different tests, the main conclusions are the following:
Test 1
One day recording with Samsung SHC-730PH camera occupies 50% less space than high-resolution 480 lines camera, saving hard disk space. Since the images occupy less space, data transmission will be more effective and the recorder can transmit more images in the same time period.
Test 2
There is not such a disk usage difference because of artificial low lighting during the day, even though the differences are 40%.
Test 3
Hard disk space usage is measured in three parts to differenciate natural lighting (part 2) from artificial lighting (parts 1 and 3).
The differences in each part are the followings: 53, 26, 42 (39)
Part 1: Samsung SHC-730PH camera occupies 53% less than high-resolution camera 480 Tvl.
Conclusions
After data analysis in low artificial or natural lighting conditions the images obtained with Samsung SHC-730PH camera occupy between 42% and 53% less than the ones obtained with high-resolution camera 480 lines.
Besides having far more hard disk space, we have also the benefit of optimizing the transmission of images obtained with Samsung SHC-730PH camera against of high-resolution 480 lines camera.
Finally, we have to emphasize that the image quality of Samsung SHC-730PH camera is clearly better than high-resolution 480 lines camera. Further evidence to corroborate these conclusions are the photos below recorded with the different cameras at different times of the day.
